About Me
Hi I’m Sally, the owner of Polly’s Garden. I live in Wokingham with my husband of 22 years, our two gorgeous daughters and our much-loved cavapoochon, Scout.
When I’m not playing with flowers, I like nothing better than to be outside walking in the woods. I find nature inspiring and being out amongst it always brightens my spirits: getting to work with it is an absolute pleasure.

In a former life I was a primary school teacher but always had a love of plants and flowers that began at an early age when I helped my nana (Polly) cut flowers from the garden – a traditional English garden with rose beds and a beautiful herbaceous border. It was later in life that I decided to train to fulfil a long-held ambition to become a florist. I trained at Merrist Wood College and was awarded City and Guilds Certificate in Floristry level 2 and 3 with Distinction and was pleased as punch to come top of my class in both courses.
Listening to my customers in order to understand their needs and visions, and then bringing those to life in bespoke floral designs is at the core of what I do. I’m passionate about the impact flowers can have and the emotions they can evoke whether it be for a funeral or wedding.
If you need flowers for a special event, do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you.
