If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Hampshire, then Warbrook House Hotel could be the perfect choice. I’ve been a recommended supplier at Warbrook for over a year now and whilst the hotel and grounds have always impressed me, change is afoot!
Last year Warbrook saw new management take the reins and many improvements have already taken place.
The house itself is a beautiful example of a Georgian House (Grade I listed) and provides a stunning setting for any wedding or special event. The sweeping drive and extensive grounds make for a truly impressive arrival. If you’re after a country house vibe for your big day, this will definitely hit the spot. You can play Lord and Lady of the Manor for the day if you welcome guests to your wedding here!
The grounds at Warbrook are gorgeous – open lawns, huge trees and a stunning canal which has recently been restored to its former beauty. The pretty pavilion looks gorgeous when decorated with flowers and provides the perfect romantic spot to say your “I dos”. The paths around the canal have been improved and made accessible so that any couple tying the knot can enjoy the spectacular backdrops of the house and grounds in their wedding photos. Set away from the road, the large estate gives a sense of privacy and luxury, a real touch of country charm.
The inside is impressive too with historic rooms and light bright spaces. Stately fireplaces, a picturesque staircase and large entrance way provide perfect places for large wow factor floral arrangements and of course plenty of photo opportunities. The large function room has been decorated in a neutral palette which is a perfect blank canvas on which to create your own style. Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding or a huge event, Warbrook has something to offer, and as a florist, the venue is a dream to decorate with beautiful floral designs!
The newly opened Peony room is the perfect space for the bridal party to prepare in – light, spacious and well-equipped. The hair and make-up artists, who attended the supplier evening with me last autumn, all thought it was great! And compared to some preparation rooms I’ve visited to deliver bouquets, I can see where they were coming from. It has beautiful views over the gardens too!
Whilst the gardens and house are being revamped, renovated and refreshed, perhaps the biggest change is the arrival of Courtney Aluko as the new wedding planner. I met with Courtney a few weeks ago and it is clear that she has the passion, the drive and the know-how to return Warbrook to one of the most sought after wedding venues in Hampshire. She is aware of the challenges ahead but is clear in her vision and the standard of service that is required. She brings her experience from her time with the prestigious Hatfield House events teams and is determined to deliver a high-end service to all Warbrook’s wedding couples. Courtney is on a mission to win awards for Warbrook and I have no doubt that she will!
As a local florist, I feel the future for Warbrook is bright and I can’t wait to work with more couple couples tying the knot there. As I have already said, dressing Warbrook with wedding flowers is a dream. There are so many spaces and opportunities to produce something impactful and gorgeous that I can design a truly unique floral theme for each and every wedding: something that reflects you as a couple, that showcases what you are about, and creates the perfect atmosphere for your big day.
If you are looking for a wedding florist at Warbrook or any venue in the Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey area, do get in touch, I’d love to create something bespoke for you.
